Date Night Drugstore Makeup Look

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE !

Once a month, my boyfriend (Andrew) and I, make it a point to have date night together just the two of us! We are both super busy a lot of the time, so I always look forward to our special night out on the town! I thought it would be fun to put together a little makeup drugstore look for you all! This entire makeup look was put together with affordable drugstore makeup all found at Target!! I created a list below of everything I used to put this look together, as well as, a little review about the products!

- Drugstore Makeup Finds -

Nivea Men Post Shave Balm- "Primer" - I have been using this stuff for years! I use it as a face primer before I apply my foundation! I learned this trick a few years back from a makeup artist and it has saved me A TON of money over the years! It gives my skin the perfect amount of moisture to help smooth in my foundation!

Maybelline FIT ME! Foundation - I used the shade (227) This foundation goes on like velvet! I have a slightly red tint to my face and this did a great job covering it! I was very impressed with how well this foundation blended into my skin and did not leave it feeling oily. It also added a bit of moisture to my skin to help in the areas where my skin can be slightly dry. For less than $5, this product is a true bargain!

Maybelline FIT ME Concealer - Shade 20 (Sand). This concealer is SO good! It has great coverage without becoming caked or cracked. I used this under my eyes, down my nose, and on my chin. It is very buildable and blended well with the rest of my makeup!

NYX - SFX Setting Powder - Highly impressed with this product. It set my concealer so well giving me the perfect matte finish! The powder was nice and light and so easy to apply. My makeup lasted all date night long! I highly recommend you snag this product. For $10 you can't beat it!

Maybelline Face Studio Contour Set - The colors in this product are very pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way! The brown shade did a great job creating dimension on my face and the blush was such a good match with my skin tone! The highlight was very full of shimmer, so be careful when applying that you start light and build up to the amount of "sparkle" you want. For only $10, this product served its purpose well!

e.l.f. Eyeshadow Palette - I used the 7th shade in the palette on my eyelids. Then I used the 1st shade under my brows + in my inner eye corners. The matte colors in this palette are fantastic! I loved the Mauve color and it stayed on my eyes throughout the evening. The shimmer colors are not very pigmented at all, but still a good buy for ten bucks!

NYX Eyeliner - (Jet Black) This stuff is the business! I can't believe how long it lasted on my water line without smudging. I had this on for about 7 hours and it didn't smudge at all! I would highly recommend this product!

NYX Eyebrow Pencil - (Taupe) This was by far my favorite drugstore purchase! It is a fantastic dupe to the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil and it is half the price! This product goes on so smooth and left my eyebrows looking so natural! Money well spent!

NYX Mascara -  This mascara did a great job giving me volume + length! After wearing it all night, it didn't flake or dull at all! When applying I put on a light first coat and let it dry. Then after a few minutes I applied a thicker second coat which gave me the volume I love on my lashes! Such a great product for less than $6!
